- 5 leaves Indian Borage
- 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
Collect Indian Borage leaves, wash and pat dry.
Grind the leaves up with mortar and pestle to get the juice.
Strain the juice into a small container to get the solids out.
Mix in 2 tbsp of extra virgin coconut oil into the indian borage juice evenly.
Cool the mixture in the fridge. Once the coconut oil has set, it will be a balm for mosquito repelling and soothing mosquito/insect bites.
- Keep the balm refrigerated in order to keep it fresh. The balm will last around 2-3 weeks easily in the fridge.
- Coconut oil has antimicrobial and healing properties so this balm is also good for for the skin irritation that results from mosquito bites.
